Oman hockey: SAS Naqvi to be honoured in India

Muscat: In recognition of his immense contribution to sports, veteran hockey personality Saiyed Ali Sibtain Naqvi will be presented with an award by a publishing group that runs news portal todaylivenews.in
SAS Naqvi, who is a former coach of Oman national hockey team and also served both Oman Hockey Association and Oman Olympic Committee as the technical advisor, will be among a handful of achievers to be honoured on December 22.
The awarding ceremony is scheduled to take place at Deputy Speaker Hall, Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
The todaylivenews.in group initiated the awards, named ‘Bharat Gaurav Samman’ to recognise the ‘great achievers in various categories who have, through their accomplishments, have broken barriers, set examples and are role models to our society’.
