Omani elected to UNESCO panel

Seoul: An Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage affiliated to the UNESCO has elected Sayyid Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Assistant Director General for Arts at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture as an international expert representing the Sultanate in the committee.
The committee is tasked with the evaluation of nominations for enlisting in the UNESCO world list of intangible cultural heritage.
