Electronic platform on industrial cooperation to be opened today

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan, Chairman of the Research Council will inaugurate on Sunday the electronic platform (Ejad).
The electronic platform will increase cooperation between the industrial sector in the field of energy, as well as academic and research institutions in the Sultanate. The platform aims at creating a partnership among the industrial sector, academic institutions and the research sector in general, in order to provide scientific solutions to the challenges facing the industrial sector, thus investing research and academic expertise in the Sultanate and directing research towards local challenges in the private sector.
The platform is a partnership between the Research Council and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Gas under the umbrella of fully integrated institute of advanced technologies of the Research Council within the activities of the annual researcher’s forum.
