Supermoon on view over Oman on Sunday

Muscat: The December 3 Supermoon will be visible from Oman, if the clouds don't get in the way, according to weather watchers.
Jason Nicholls, Senior Meteorologist and Manager of International Forecasting atAccuWeather.com, said residents of Oman will be able to see the Supermoon on Sunday. “People in Oman should be able to see it, if there are no cloud issues,” he said.
A Supermoon happens when the full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit. Supermoons make the moon appear a little brighter and closer than normal, although the difference is hard to spot with the naked eye. Some observers claim tomorrow's moon will appear 14 per cent larger than normal.
