Oman weather: Lower temperatures, clear skies across the Sultanate

Muscat: Clear skies are predicted over most of the Sultanate with temperatures varying from 11 degrees in Jabal Shams, to 33 degrees in Salalah.

A weather update from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation stated, "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog over parts of south al-Sharqiya and al-Wusta governorates and parts of Oman sea coastal area."

Temperatures in the rest of the Sultanate will be: 27 degrees in Muscat, Khasab and Rustaq, 28 degrees in Nizwa, Sohar, Buraimi, Duqm and Sur, 29 degrees in Ibri, Masirah and Haima, and 30 degrees in Ibra.

The sea state will be northerly to northeasterly, slight to moderate winds along coastal area of Arabian Sea and slight along coastal area of Oman Sea and Musandam, with a maximum wave height of 1.5metres.
