Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan left on Monday heading to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to chair the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation in the 31st Arab Summit, due to be held in the capital Algiers on 1 & 2 November.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were seen off upon their departure by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs, Charge D'affaires of the Algerian Embassy in Muscat and Saif Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Sa’eedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Abdullah Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Saif Nasir Al Badai, Ambassador of Oman to Algeria and the two advisors at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad.
