Indian School Al Ghubra launches mobile app

Muscat: Indian School Al Ghubra launched an ISG mobile app on November 15, 2017.
Ahmed Rayees, president, School Management Committee, launched the mobile app ISG OMAN with much fanfare during the Founder’s Day celebrations.
The app is developed to facilitate the needs of the parents and to help them communicate with the school.
It is also an attempt to be more eco-friendly by reducing the use of paper.
The school can now send instant and individual messages to the parents regarding circulars and important news.
School and sports events can be set as reminders on all mobile devices now. Parents can look forward to extensive features like fee payment, report card viewing and request for leave.
The student-tracking feature will be added where they will receive a notification when their wards enter or leave the school premises.
Alumni members can also feel closer to their alma mater by logging into the alumni section of the app.
The school community at large can access the live streaming of all events.
The app is incorporated with the state-of-the-art security features, which prevents misuse and loss of information.
The registration of parents to this platform can be done only after proper validation of mobile number and email address of parents.
The mobile application is developed and managed by Middle East IT Systems. The app can be downloaded from App store and Google Play store by searching for ISG OMAN.
A memento was presented on the occasion to the Chief Guest, Madam Fatma Noorani, Director General, Ministry of Education, and the Founder, Dr. P. Mohammed Ali.
“The intention of this user-friendly app is to bring parents and the school closer to each other,” said Papri Ghosh, principal of the school.
