Muscat: Petroleum Development Oman's (PDO) Exploration Team is in the process of evaluating a potentially exciting gas discovery in the Mabrouk area located central Oman, Abdul Amir bin Abdul Hussain Al Ajmi, Director of External Affairs and In-Country Value (ICV) at PDO stated.

He added, "We will provide further details as we complete ongoing exploration/appraisal follow-up and, consistent with previous reporting practice, this will not be before the annual media conference scheduled at the Ministry of Oil and Gas in March 2018".
