Shell Oman celebrates National Day with #Journey2Remember campaign

Muscat: Shell Oman’s latest #journey2remember campaign has been launched to celebrate the 47th National Day.
The campaign features a classic car that will visit some of Oman’s remarkable landmarks that highlight the Sultanate’s story of growth, progress, and its diverse beauty.
Under the #Journey2Remember campaign, Salim al Amri and Hussain Al Bahrani, staff of Shell Oman, will take the 1965 red Corvette and use Shell App to visit 47 Shell service stations starting from Mina Al Fahal Service Station to spread the joy and spirit of the occasion for a week. The journey will cover a number of key touristic and economic landmarks and will be covered on a day-to-day basis on social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) with the hashtag #Journey2Remember.
The journey was launched at a special flag-off ceremony at Shell Development Oman’s office, under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Fahar bin Fatik Al Said, in the presence of key stakeholders and representatives from Shell. The ceremony began with a keynote speech by Chris Breeze, Country Chairman of Shell Oman. This was followed by a presentation about the journey and the official flag-off of the ceremony by the chief guest.
Muna Al Shukaili, GM of External Relations at Shell Development Oman said, “We are delighted to celebrate the national day through the #Journey2Remember campaign. On this day, Omanis proudly remember their history and celebrate their identity as well as Oman’s journey of progress and prosperity. Our colleagues, Salim and Hussain’s journey is an opportunity to showcase this journey, and to deepen the long-standing partnership Shell shares with the Sultanate throughout history.”
