Oman flooded with National Day wishes from around the world

Muscat: Wishes have been pouring in from both public and private organisations in the other GCC nations, on the occasion of Oman's 47th National Day.
With Oman's status as a nation that has always pursued the path of peace and non-violence as established by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, there has been no shortage of goodwill to come the way of the Sultanate.

The Qatar Tourism Authority was among the first to greet His Majesty and the nation on this much-cherished occasion.
"Qatar Tourism Authority extends its congratulations to the fellow brothers and sisters in Sultanate of #Oman on the occasion of #OmanNationalDay," they said in a tweet.
Another Qatari organisation, the Museum of Islamic Art, also extended its greetings to Oman. "We extend our best wishes to the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of #OmanNationalDay," they tweeted.
Several prominent buildings in both Qatar and the UAE were decked up in the colours of the Omani flag, and with the UAE's state-run media agency WAM reporting on Emirati activities to felicitate His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.

"President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratulations to Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman, on the occasion of his country's National Day," said WAM, in a statement. "The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, dispatched similar messages of congratulations on the occasion."
The Dubai Tourism Authority also extended its wishes to the people of Oman.
"Wishing all our brothers and sisters in the Sultanate of #Oman a Happy 47th #OmanNationalDay," they tweeted.

Emirati drinks manufacturer Moloko also took the opportunity to wish Oman, in a short, but sweet message. "Happy National Day Sultanate of Oman," said Moloko on its Instagram page.
The Bahraini authorities also conveyed their warm messages of friendship and brotherhood to residents in Oman.
"We wish our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman, its government and its people a happy National Day,” stated Bahrain's Information and eGovernment Authority, as Bahrain International Airport's official Twitter handle added, "Bahrain International Airport extends its best wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, Sultan of Oman as well as to the people of Oman, on the occasion of the forty seventh National Day."

Seef Mall, one of Bahrain's most popular malls, also extended its wishes, saying, "Best wishes on the occasion of the Sultanate of Oman's National Day," with Manama-based perfume manufacturer Asgharli Perfumes adding, "Happy 47th Oman National Day! From all of us at Asgharali perfumes!"
Kuwait's Permanent Mission to the United Nations also wished its Omani counterparts, tweeting, "Congratulations to the Sultanate of #Oman and our colleagues at @Oman_UN on the occassion of their 47th National Day!" using the official handle of Oman's representatives to the UN.
The United Kingdom's Department of International Trade for the Middle East and North Africa also took the opportunity to wish Oman on this auspicious occasion.
"Wishing His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the people of Oman a very happy 47th National Day," they tweeted.
Diyaeddine Bamakarama, Ambassador of Djibouti to Saudi Arabia, also extended his wished to His Majesty, saying: "Congratulating his brother Sultan Qaboos Bin Said for the 47th National Day of the Sultanate of Oman. Wishing His Majesty and Omani people all the best.
"He has been triumphant in overseeing development and the progress of his people," he added. "I wish for both our nations to continue our successful bilateral relations."
"Congratulations to friends and colleagues on the occasion of the National Day of Oman," said Laurie Bambus, Ambassador of Estonia to Oman. "Thank you for your cooperation and friendship."
