Muscat: Wishes have been pouring in from both public and private organisations in the other GCC nations, on the occasion of Oman's 47th National Day.

With Oman's status as a nation that has always pursued the path of peace and non-violence as established by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, there has been no shortage of goodwill to come the way of the Sultanate.

Several prominent buildings in both Qatar and the UAE were decked up in the colours of the Omani flag, and with the UAE's state-run media agency WAM reporting on Emirati activities to felicitate His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
