Oman, Egypt hold official talks after foreign minister Alawi receives Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shokri

Muscat: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, held an official talks session with Sameh Shokri, Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Tuesday.

The meeting discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them in various fields.

They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

The accompanying delegation of the guest minister and a number of senior officials at the Foreign Ministry attended the talks.



Earlier the guest was received upon arrival by the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Political Affairs Manager at the Foreign Ministry, the accredited ambassador of Egypt to Oman and a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
