Pakistan Embassy celebrates National Day of Sultanate of Oman

Muscat: Ali Javed, Ambassador of Pakistan hosted a reception to launch celebrations across the Sultanate by the Pakistani expat community to celebrate Oman's 47th National Day, falling November 18.
Ambassador Sheikh Hilal Marhoon Salim Al Maamari, Chief West Asia Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Brigadier Abdullah Nasser Hamed Al Salmi, Military Welfare Services Officer COSSAF graced the occasion, in addition to officers from Sultan's Armed Forces and Diplomatic Corps.
Other guests included the Executive President of the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority; Chief Executive Officer of Salam Air; President of Oman Society for Writers and Literati; Secretary General of Oman Hockey Association; and Director of Oman National Museum.
The ambassador praised the five decades of wisdom and leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said as a beacon of peace and friendship in the region, and thanked Oman for hosting 272,000 Pakistani expats with generous hospitality.
