It has grown to be very popular with customers. By offering attractive incentives, our purpose is to inspire a saving culture among our esteemed customers.”

On being the lucky winner of the grand prize, Al-Tae, expressed his happiness during a call from US where he is perusing his MA said: “I have received the news of winning OMR25,000 with pleasure. I am very grateful to Maisarah who built bigger confidence after this winning. The prize will motivate me to continue saving with Maisarah. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Maisarah for their cooperation and excellent services which exceed our expectations.”

As part of its comprehensive campaign, Maisarah had also conducted monthly, quarterly, Ramadan and Hajj draws for the holders of its Prize Account in various locations. Maisarah showcased their prize account scheme and other products at Muscat City Centre, Nizwa Grand Mall, Sohar Safeer Mall, Oman Avenues Mall, Salalah Gardens Mall and will be concluding with Sur City Walk.

Dignitaries and social media influencers attended the prize draws, which included Ahmed Al Hooti, manager, Al Jazeera & member of Oman Chamber of Commerce, Mohammed Al Kindi, prominent director and producer. Khalid Al Hamdi, Moosa Al Farai, and Salim Awadh Al Najjar – GM/DG of Information, Dhofar were also present in the respective locations.

In Maisarah we are committed to making our customers' lives easier. We provide the best banking products and services that are compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic law. This prize is given away from the shareholders as a gesture of appreciation for being our customer.”

He added, “It is very easy to open this account which is based on the Islamic profit sharing concept of Mudarabah. Customers need to maintain a minimum balance of OMR100 in their accounts for a month to be eligible for the draw. For every OMR100 balance, they get one chance to win, so the more they save, the greater their chances of winning.”

Following the success of the first prize account in 2016, Maisarah launched this year’s scheme with bigger prizes, including larger segments of customers. The unique feature of Maisarah Prize Account is that customers are eligible for the monthly expected profit on their deposits maintained in the account in addition to the prizes they may win.

Mohammed reminded, “As we approaching the grand prize of OMR50,000 in addition to the monthly draws, we encourage our customers to continue saving with Maisarah to be qualified for the draws.”
