InfoFort, Al Rud’ha sign pact to empower young entrepreneurs

Muscat: InfoFort, an Aramex company and leading information management solution provider in the Middle East and Africa, has announced its partnership with Al Rud’ha, Oman’s first co-working space for aspiring market leaders, to drive entrepreneurship success and youth development in the region.
In line with its efforts to invest in the local communities, InfoFort has developed a Youth Technology Capacity and Skills building initiative with Al-Rud’ha, which includes a mentorship programme for students where they can develop key IT skills and learn from industry experts.
The programme also focuses on offering training sessions to students in the field of records management and is designed to sharpen their skills on data and information management and automation technologies.
Al Rud’ha has been a centre of focus for creatives and entrepreneurs alike, and in the two years since opening in April 2015, has housed over 2,300 individuals who aim to mark their steps in the Omani market.
“We are pleased with the collaboration with InfoFort, as it has enabled us to widen our reach in this key region, and has allowed us to bring exciting new opportunities to Oman,” said Fatma Bahwan, co-founder of Al Rud’ha. “Through this partnership, we aim to empower our youth with the latest developments in technology, and to ensure that we build the capacity of our students and provide them with job opportunities to establish their futures upon.”
Al Rud’ha has been open to startups and entrepreneurs to build their business in a cohesive environment, where they can maximise networking, learn from peers who are in the same field, and attend regular events that can help catalyse their growth plans.
“Al-Rud’ha holds a unique approach in helping creative and business graduates launch, develop and enhance their business, and we are proud at InfoFort to be contributing to their reservoir of knowledge,” said Abed Shaheen, CEO of InfoFort.
InfoFort began its operations in 1997, and today has operations in 25 cities across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
