NBO opens doors to females to celebrate Omani Women’s Day with special event

Muscat: National Bank of Oman (NBO) opened its doors to all females across the Sultanate for a special event celebrating this year’s Omani Women’s Day.
The occasion was the latest edition of Women@NBO, an initiative that inspires females to achieve personal and professional fulfillment, and will take place at NBO’s new head office in Al Athaiba.
Inspirational guests Dr Muna Mahfoudh, the first Radio and TV presenter in Oman; and Ahlam Al Maqbali, an entrepreneur who built a successful platform to help women grow their businesses, participated in a panel discussion, sharing their journeys, speaking about the challenges they have overcome, and the lessons they have learnt that have contributed to their success.
Women from every corner of the Sultanate travelled to Muscat to celebrate Omani Women’s Day at NBO’s new head office, including students, entrepreneurs, journalists, musicians, executives and artists. In total, 140 women from a broad range of professions and industries attend the one-off event.
