'Stay safe' advice to Omanis in Ireland as Hurricane Ophelia homes in

Muscat: The embassy of Oman in the United Kingdom has warned nationals to listen to local government advice in the lead up to Hurricane Ophelia making landfall in the UK and Ireland.
"We kindly ask our citizens in Ireland to stay tuned with the local authorities for safety precautions. Stay safe," the embassy said online.
The UK Met office has issued an amber weather warning as Hurricane Ophelia is on course to hit Ireland and the UK on Monday.
Oman's Cultural Attaché in London also informed students in Ireland that all educational institutions in the country would remain closed on Monday, because of the storm.
