Iranian defence minister receives RAFO Commander

Tehran: Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Iranian Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistical Support on Tuesday received Air Vice Marshal Mattar bin Ali Al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), at the headquarters of the Iranian Defence Ministry.
The Iranian Minister commended the good relations binding Oman with Iran.
The meeting exchanged viewpoints on a number of matters of common concern.
The meeting was attended by the Sultanate’s ambassador to Iran, the delegation accompanying RAFO Commander, the Omani Military Attaché at the Omani Embassy.
Brigadier General Shah Safi, Commander of the Iranian Air Force also separately met with Air Vice Marshal Al Obaidani. An official session of talks was held between the two sides at the Iranian Air Force Headquarters.
The session of talks was attended by the same accompanying delegation, and senior officers of the Iranian Air Force.
