Visiting Austria? The Omani embassy in Vienna has issued this advisory

Muscat: Omani nationals going to Austria have been notified that “it has placed a ban on full-face veil in public places, starting from October 1.”
"The embassy notes that for citizens coming to Austria, the ban on full-face veils in public places will be in effect from 1 October, 2017," the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Vienna tweeted on Thursday.
Recently, Austrian members of parliament have approved a new bill which bans garments that fully cover the face of women.
