1. Freeze fresh herbs. Then just crumble in your cooking as needed.
2. Use whey for soups and curries instead of water. It is more nutritious.
3. Add some lemon juice whilst boiling rice to have white rice.
4. Add kiwi fruit, green apple, oranges, berries or any sour or over-ripe fruit to make coriander chutney more nutritious.
5. If asafoetida (hing) becomes too hard, then keep a green chilli with it.
