Mercedes-Benz Oman begins its 2nd 'Service Week' at Sohar Service Centre

Sohar: Guaranteeing peak performance on the roads, Mercedes-Benz Oman has launched its second ‘Service Week’ for 2017.
This edition of the popular series will run from September 24 - 28 and offers customers at the Mercedes-Benz Service Centre in Sohar a safety inspection free of charge. The complimentary inspections promote road safety and ensure customers’ vehicles are in the best condition possible.
“For over 135 years, our brand has been a pioneer in automotive safety and the well-being of our customers and their passengers remains our highest priority. We are proud to continue this tradition by offering our customers a safety inspection completely free of charge, as part of our ongoing commitment to safety and excellence in aftersales. I am delighted to present this next edition of our Service Week series at our Service Center in Sohar, cementing our promise that ‘Safety has a Home’ at Mercedes-Benz,” explained Lawrence Good, CEO - Mercedes-Benz Oman.
He added: “While Mercedes-Benz vehicles are engineered for safety, sometimes in our busy lives we forget about the importance of regular automotive maintenance. Service Week allows our customers to conveniently check the condition of their vehicles completely free of charge, before embarking on any long drives or holidays as we enter a busier time of the year on Oman’s roads.”
The comprehensive safety inspections are carried out by skilled and experienced Mercedes-Benz technicians in the state-of-the-art facility at the Service Center in Sohar. This service includes an inspection of the exterior of the vehicle for damage combined with the underside to detect any corrosion or leakage. The condition of wiper blades and exterior lights are assessed, as are fluid levels (engine oil, coolant, braking system and windscreen washer system). Also under scrutiny will be the tyres and wheels including tyre pressure and adjustment and the braking system.
Due to the popularity of the Service Week, customers are advised to book their appointment in advance to avoid disappointment.
