Sohar Aluminium partially resumes production after smelter accident

Muscat: Sohar Aluminium partially resumed production of aluminium at its smelter in Sohar, after gradually restarting its pot on September 15.
However, the company is still working closely with a team of industry experts to progressively return to full production levels as early as possible, stated Said Al Masoudi, chief executive officer of Sohar Aluminium.
The company thanked all its employees for the positive progress towards a quick return to full production while keeping safety as a primary focus.
As hosts of the 21st edition of the Arab International Aluminium Conference (ARABAL), Sohar Aluminium will be taking the conference delegates on an exclusive site visit to its plant and facilities, to showcase its production capabilities in the most transparent way.
