Omani bags second gold medal in Montenegro photography contest

Muscat: Young Omani photographer Hetaf Salim Albulushi has won her second gold medal at an international photography contest in Montenegro. Hetaf was awarded her second FIAP gold medal in the category of photo travel for capturing the architectural design of a building in Seoul during an international photography competition in Montenegro.
“I took this photo during my last trip to South Korea in July” she said, adding that she wanted to capture the luxuries and special architectural style found in Seoul. Showing a person walking in the photo, adds more strength and discrimination to the photo,” noted Albulushi. “I felt really happy once I received the news, and was surprised at the same time. It always makes me happy when I win anything internationally that will raise Oman’s name.”
Albulushi, an HR management student at the Middle East College, said she has won four international awards, in Serbia, Greece and now two in Montenegro.
The 1st International Salon of Photography “CITADELA 2017”, Montenegro, is a FIAP and PSA-approved competition, which began August 27th, 2017. During the gathering, 161 winners were recognized on September 12, 2017 in five categories, including open color, nature, photo travel, open monochrome and men and women.
