Oman's Royal Office Minister receives US Central Command Commander

Muscat: Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received in his office on Tuesday General Joseph L. Votel, Commander of the United States (US) Central Command.
At the beginning of the meeting, Gen. Al Nu’amani welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation. On his turn, the US military official stressed the keenness of his country to enhance all ties of the existing cooperation between the Sultanate and the friendly US.
The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed march of the good historic relations binding the two sides in all areas and means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests. The meeting also touched on a number of matters of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Lt.Gen Ahmed bin Harith Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the US Ambassador to the Sultanate, the Military Attaché at the US Embassy in Muscat and the delegation accompanying the guest.
Defence Minister
Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs received in his office at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj on Tuesday General Joseph L. Votel, Commander of the United States (US) Central Command.
The meeting reviewed the existing fields of military cooperation between the Sultanate and the US, in addition to discussing a number of matters of common concern between the two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by Lt.Gen Ahmed bin Harith Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), The US ambassador to the Sultanate, the Military Attaché at the US Embassy in Muscat and the delegation accompanying the guest.
