Oman's Foreign Minister Alawi meets Swedish counterpart

Stockholm: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden yesterday with Margot Wallstrom, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and several regional and international issues.
Meanwhile, Jan Eliasson, Chairman of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) hosted Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah. Bin Alawi also met with the Institute's Board's members, Swedish academics and parliamentarians.
A presentation was given for Alawi on activities carried out by the Institute, in cooperation with international organisations and agencies concerned with diplomacy and peace building, as well as developing the existing relations between the Sultanate and the Institute.
