Muscat: Electronic services and related projects of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs were reviewed on Monday.

The review comes as part of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs efforts to strengthen its electronic service system for citizens and residents.

The review meeting was held between Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Salmi, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Social Service.

A range of aspects related to the electronic services and projects provided by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs were discussed in the presence of a number of concerned officials from both ministries.

The meeting included a presentation by Hilal bin Hamoud Al Riyami, Director of Holy Quran Distance Teaching Programme, which is one of the electronic initiatives adopted by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, designed by the national cadres working in the ministry.
