Oman's Public Authority for Electricity and Water organises visits to water pumping plant, reservoirs

Muscat: A field visit was organised by the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) for mediapersons yesterday to highlight the efforts exerted in water transport and implementation of sustainability projects in the water sector in the Governorate of Muscat.
The visit included a number of sites, notably the water pumping plant in Al Ghubrah, which feeds the Governorate of Muscat and the major reservoirs in Al Wattayah and Al Qurum, which is the strategic option for providing water in emergencies.
A presentation was also given at PAEW National Water Control Centre on the strategy of water transmission pipelines in the Governorate of Muscat to guarantee water sustainability and flow.
