Muscat: Medium to heavy rainfall was witnessed in Oman on Tuesday.
Weather enthusiasts recorded rainfall mostly in al Dhahira on Tuesday, focused on Yanqul but also reaching Dhank and Ibri. Added to that, there were reports of rain in Samail, Al Dakhiliyah.
A spokesperson for PACA said, “It’s because these cells are local and long. They touched eastern Hajar as well, but it’s mostly in the western mountain range. That’s why we have slight rain in Samail, and also why Al Dhahira and Al Buraimi are affected the most.”

Chances of blowing dust over desert and open areas. Chances of early morning low level clouds or fog patches along parts of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea coast.”
For Wednesday, the statement predicted, “Convective clouds development over Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining willayat during afternoon with chances of rain occasionally thundershowers associated with downdraft winds.”
