Oman weather: Cooler temperatures forecast for Sultanate

Muscat: Temperatures across Oman will be lower today, according to a weather forecast from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
"Cloudy skies are forecast over the coastal and mountainous areas of Dhofar with intermittent rain, while the rest of the Sultanate will experience mainly clear skies. There are chances of clouds developing over Al Hajar mountains and the adjoining wilayats, with occasional rain and thundershower in the afternoon," according to PACA.
The temperatures around the Sultanate will vary from 29 degrees in Muscat to 25 degrees in Salalah. Khasab and Buraimi will be the hottest wilayat in the Sultanate with temperatures of 34 degrees Celsius. Sur, Ibra, and Sohar will be mostly sunny with temperatures of 32, 25 and 32 degrees respectively.
There will be light to moderate winds along the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, while along coastal areas of the Arabian Sea, winds will be moderate. The sea state in the Arabian Sea is expected to be rough compared to Oman and Musandam sea, which is expected to be moderate.
