Camel saved from sewage pit

Muscat: Rescue teams with the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances rescued a camel from a sewage pit.
A statement by PACDA said, “Rescue teams with our authority in southern Sharqiyah have saved a camel that fell into a sewer pit in Sur.”
According to images by PACDA, the camel’s rescue operation was witnessed by locals. This is not the first camel that has been saved in the past thirty days.
On July 30, another camel fell into a manhole in Ibri, Al Dhahira. That rescue was carried out in the dark of night.
On the 24th, a cow had fallen into a hole when it ventured in a house that was under construction in Sahel Ateen, Salalah.
