Indian School Al Maabela student excels in Open State Taekwondo Championship 2017.

Muscat: An Indian School Al Maabela (ISAM) student, Maheen Nawas Khan, has won three medals in the Open State Taekwando Championship this year.

She distinguishably showcased her talents and bagged 3 medals; silver as an individual, bronze as a pair and silver in group under the sub junior category.

The ISAM principle stated she has always been a higher achiever.

The Open State Taekwondo Championship 2017, organized by the Taekwondo Club, IIT Kanpur took place in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Khan is the leading player of Uttar Pradesh and now is getting ready for state level championship to be held in Lucknow in the month of September.

With her enhance training she will be heading to National Competition to be held in Jharkhand in the month of October 2017 and will be proceeding for 2nd Malaysian opening competition at international level to be held in Kualalampur, Malaysia 2017.
