Three held after assault on gas station worker in Oman

Muscat: Three citizens have been arrested in connection with looting and assaults, according to the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

"The Shinas police station in cooperation with the Department of Criminal Investigation managed to arrest three citizens on charges of looting and assault on a gas station worker in the Ajeeb area," An official source at the ROP said.

The source confirmed that the suspects entered the office of the worker, beat him and robbed him for OMR800 and fled earlier today.

The accused confessed to the crime after being arrested and have been referred to Public Prosecution.
