After three tranquil rounds at Trump National Golf Club, things heated up outside the ropes during Sunday's final round of the U.S. Women's Open as activist groups staged protests against U.S. President Donald Trump.
"USGA, Dump Trump! USGA, Dump Trump!"
Protesters in Bedminster, New Jersey, have a message for the U.S. Golf Association.
They're not happy that the U.S. Women's Open golf championship is underway at the city's Trump National Golf Club.
And with President Trump in attendance this weekend, protesters are making sure their voices are heard.
It's really not a matter of who's President or not. The USGA decided to hold this tournament when
Donald Trump is a known sexual predator. He's bragged on television about sexually assaulting women, grabbing them by their genitals. So we're out here today to say that the USGA should dump Trump and not work with him again."
Trump National was named as the site for the 2017 U.S. Women's Open in 2012.
But after Trump entered the race, opponents who found his campaign rhetoric and behavior to be misogynist called for the tournament to be moved.
