His Majesty receives message from Qatar

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received a written message from His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar relating to the good relations binding the two countries and matters of common concern.
The message was received by His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan when he received yesterday Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Foreign Minister of Qatar.
The Qatari Foreign Minister conveyed greetings of Sheikh Tamim to His Majesty the Sultan along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty, and the Omani people further progress.
Sayyid Asa’ad asked the Qatari Minister to convey His Majesty the Sultan’s greetings and best wishes of good health and happiness to the Emir of Qatar, and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Saif bin Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Badi, Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Adviser at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Ali bin Fahd Al Hajri, Ambassador of Qatar.
Alawi also met Qatari foreign minister and reviewed the cooperation between the two countries and means of strengthening them,.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints on situations in the regional and international arenas and the latest developments in the region, as well as supporting mediation efforts being exerted by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait to reconcile views in a bid to resolve the current GCC crisis and maintaining security and stability of the GCC states, as well as the GCC joint action march.
