Oman Post to launch 15 postage stamps at Salalah Tourist Festival

Salalah: Oman Post will launch at its pavilion in Salalah Tourist Festival 15 postage stamps with the aim of promoting the Sultanate in general and the Governorate of Dhofar and the festival in particular.
Yahya Al Ghanami, Director of Media Department at Oman Post said that the postal group to be launched by Oman Post on Saturday will consist of 15 postage stamps highlighting the natural and tourist aspects of several areas of the Governorate of Dhofar. He said that the images to be printed on the new 15 stamps were shot by Omani photographer Hamad Al Busaidi, and carried a number of scenes, such as the thorny flowers in Governorate of Dhofar, Jabal Samhan, Khour Ruri and trees in the mountainous plains of Ghudo area in the Governorate of Dhofar and Wadi Darbat in the Kareef 'autumn' season.
The Director of Media Department at Oman Post said that stamp collectors and visitors of the festival can obtain the new stamps through membership in the philatelic section or visiting the Oman Post at the site where the festival is held to see the many postage stamps previously issued by Oman Post and its various themes.
