A Massachusetts judge finding Michelle Carter guilty of involuntary manslaughter for sending her boyfriend a barrage of text messages, urging him to kill himself.
Carter cried as the verdict was rendered.
Carter, now 20 years old, was a teen at the time of her boyfriend's death.
18-year-old Conrad Roy committed suicide in July, 2014 by inhaling carbon monoxide fumes inside his truck.
At one point though, he expressed doubts about what he was doing and got out of the truck... but prosecutors say Carter urged him in a series of texts to get back inside...and kill himself.
The trial marks the first time prosecutors in Massachusetts have sought such a stiff charge in a case based on text messages.
Carter now faces up to 20 years in prison.
