OMR48,000 funding for disabled and elderly people in Oman

Muscat: Three agreements worth OMR48,000 were signed on Monday at the Directorate General for Handicapped Affairs with Oman Oil Marketing Company.
As per the agreements that were signed in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Suayed Al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development each of the Omani Association for the Elderly Friends, Al Noor Association for the Blind and Omani Association for Hearing Impaired will receive OMR16,000.
The agreements were signed by Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Shanfari, GM of Joint Services at Oman Oil Marketing Company and Sultan bin Nasser Al A'mri, Chairman of the Omani Association for Hearing Impaired, Ibrahim bin Hamdoon Al Harthy, Chairman of Al Noor Association for the Blind and Hamad bin Salim Al Kindi, Chairman of the Omani Association for the Elderly Friends.
The ceremony has been attended by a number of officials at the Ministry of Social Development, Oman Oil Marketing Co and representatives from the three associations.
