Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning reviews initiatives

Muscat: To review the progress of three initiatives, the steering committee at the Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning held its third meeting yesterday.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning in the presence of the committee members and a number of officials from the concerned units at the Supreme Council for Planning.
The first initiative is on classification of the projects executed in partnership with the private sector; the second initiative is on building the capabilities of the government institutions in terms of classification of projects and the third initiative is on establishment of two government institutions for management of government projects.
The third initiative is pending for the approval of the Council of Ministers.
