MSM receives international-grade ISO certification

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) was awarded ISO 9001: 2015 certification in the field of quality management, which is granted by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) after fulfilling all requirements and passing the required quality test.
Ahmed bin Saleh Al Marhoon, Director General of MSM received the certification from the representative of the accredited centre ISO in the Sultanate Adel Al Khadhori, Director of Internal Audit at MSM said that receiving the ISO 9001: 2015 certification in the field of quality management is the culmination of MSM continuous efforts in raising the level of performance of the organisation and achieving the required efficiency and adequacy, in addition to improving the level of the relationship between the market and its customers, as well as enabling them to conduct self-evaluation through the implementation of the best global practices in Quality Management System.
A representative of the accredited centre in the Sultanate said that the new ISO certification focuses on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures by identifying and reducing potential risks.
