Indian School Seeb students score high in CBSE exams

Muscat: The students of Class XII at Indian School Seeb achieved high scores in various streams in the recently concluded CBSE board examinations. A total of 170 students from the school wrote the public exams. In the Science stream, Gopika Gokul topped the school with an aggregate of 95.6 per cent with a grade of A1 in all subjects. Second place was bagged by Sidharth Praveen with 94.4 per cent average and Sreya J.S. coming in third with 93.6 per cent.
The individual subject toppers of the school in the Science Stream are: Physics: Gopika Gokul, Sidharth Praveen, Sanika Vincent and Sharon Viji (95); Chemistry: Gopika Gokul (98); Biology: Gopika Gokul (95); Mathematics: Hasna Mehnes (99); Computer Science: Sidharth Praveen (97); Informatic Practices: Roshwin Deril Lobo (97).
Sania Aslam Bijle stood first in the Commerce stream with an aggregate score of 92.4 per cent, while Preethi Sarah Koshy received 91.6 per cent and stood second. Shruthi C. Pillai got the third place with 89.4 per cent. In the Humanities stream, Lavanya Biju became the school's first Humanities batch topper by scoring 95.6 per cent; second palce was bagged by Jenny Maria Joseph (85 per cent) and the third position went to Baisil Kunhumon with (84.8 per cent).
The individual subject toppers are — Economics: Sania Aslam Bijle (95 per cent); Accountancy: Preethi Sarah Koshy (91 per cent); Business Studies: Sania Aslam Bijle and Preethi Sarah Koshy (95 per cent); Psychology: Baisil Kunhumon (99 per cent), Sociology: Lavanya Biju with (97 per cent), Fine Arts: Lavanya Biju (99 per cent), Entrepreneurship: Sania Aslam Bijle (96 per cent); Physical Education: Sumrya (91 per cent). English: Shilpa Shivdas (97 per cent), while 62 students received A1s.
Gopika Gokul, who was also the Head Girl of the school, thanked the Principal and all her teachers. Sania Aslam Bijle, the Commerce Stream topper, also asserted and vouched for the conducive environment provided by the school and thanked her parents for their support. Humanities topper Lavanya Biju said she was happy to create a name for herself in the school’s hall of fame.
