Oman crime: One arrested for forging medical documents

Muscat: Forgery of several medical documents has resulted in the arrest of a citizen in Muscat, officials announced.

The Department of Criminal Investigation at the Ruwi Police Station arrested a citizen on charges of forging medical statements.

A source at the the ROP said that the Ruwi Police station received reports of discovering falsifications in the seals of medical statements. The medical statements were in reference to expats of Asian nationalities, and further investigation led to the citizen's office.

The citizen allegedly used a forged seal in order to clear transactions, and has been arrested for the crime.
