News Rewind: Working hours during Ramadan announced in Oman

Ramadan was on everyone's mind and readling lists this week. Here are Times of Oman's top news stories from the past week, with our weekend News Rewind:
The working hours for the private and public sectors during the holy month of Ramadan were announced: 9 am to 2 pm for ministries, public authorities and other departments of the state's administrative; and reduced working period of six hours a day and 30 hours a week for muslims in the private sector.
Two people were killed and many more were injured after yet another bus crash on the Salalah highway, that took place near the Qarn Alam area according to the Royal Oman Police.
The Department of Meteorology announced that even though we've entered the cyclone season, there's no certainty of any cyclones hitting Oman, and that residents and citizens should only wait for announcements from the proper authorities regarding the weather.
The country's Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs also invited citizens and residents to look for the Ramadan crescent on the eve of May 26, in anticipation of the start of the holy month.
And finally, the Board of Indian Schools in Oman has said that it would be introducing a new recrutiment procedure to hire teachers, to improve the standard of teaching in schools in the country.
