Sayyid Fahd arrives in Saudi Arabia to take part in GCC Leaders Consultative Summit

Muscat: Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers arrived in Riyadh to take part in the 17th GCC Leaders Consultative Summit starting on Sunday which aims to foster joint Gulf action.
On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers left for Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Sayyid Fahd will also attend the GCC-USA third Summit and Arab/Islamic/ US Summit.
Sayyid Fahd has gone to Saudi Arabia on an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers was received at King Salman Air Base by Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, the Emir of Riyadh and Dr Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary General of the GCC and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia.
Sayyid Fahd was seen off by Sheikh Al Fadhal bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr.Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, Sayyed Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Dr. Fouad bin Jafar bin Mohammed Al Sagwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Dr. Abdul Munim bin Mansour bin Said Al Hasani, Minister of Information and the Charge D'Affairs of the KSA.
Sayyed Fahd is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi, Minister of Housing and Mohammed bin Salim Al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs.
The official delegation also includes some government officials.
