Dar Al Atta’a holds annual charity dinner in Oman

Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a’s annual charity dinner was a glittering event held at the Al Bustan Palace hotel, in the presence of the Chief Guest His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asad bin Tariq Al Said.
At the event, held at the five-star hotel run by Ritz-Carlton on Tuesday evening, Dar Al Atta’a announced and awarded some of their biggest sponsors throughout the year, who have supported the organisation with a range of different programmes.
“The generous donations received last year enabled Dar Al Atta’a to grow its programme and execute a number of noteworthy projects, including, and not limited to, building six houses and renovating 57 others in 29 Wilayats, which is a remarkable milestone and new achievement in the track record of our association,” said May Al Bayat, spokesperson for Dar Al Atta’a, while addressing the audience.
“This would not have been possible without the ‘One-Team’ spirit of our colleagues at the association and of course your great support and trust.” A video highlighting some of the organisation’s milestone achievements was also shown to the attendees. Another video showing the lack of space in Dar Al Atta’a current building was shown to raise funds for new premises for the charity.
Since the establishment of Dar Al Atta’a in 2002, the association has been working hard to deliver several charity projects under various programmes that were not only financed, but also managed and supervised by the association.
Many of these programmes are aimed at empowering families in need to overcome difficulties what they may face in their lives and help provide them with sustainable and honourable living standards.
“It is our pleasure to come together tonight with our kind and generous sponsors and supporters, who are instrumental in allowing us the opportunity to develop, grow and progress. Thank you to all our partners and sponsors for all your support and dedication to help us be where we are today, your commitment has been powering the progress of our journey,” Al Bayat said further.
