2,091 packets of khat seized in Oman

Muscat: More than 2,000 packets of khat were seized on a boat in the Sea of Oman, the ROP announced Wednesday.
The Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, led by Dhofar Governorate police and Coast Guard police, said three people were arrested on board the boat.
The ROP found 2,091 packets of khat drug hidden in large bags inside the boat. The boat was seized in Omani territorial waters adjacent to Wilayat Taqa.
