Muscat: His Majesty issued a Royal Decree amending some provisions of the expats Residence Law.
According to the decree, a foreigner must submit a request to renew his residence 15 days before the expiry of his residence, and it is permissible to refuse granting or renewing residence without giving reasons.
The first article of Decree No. 60/2021 stipulates that the attached amendments shall be made to the aforementioned expats residence law. The second article stipulated the cancellation of everything that contradicts the attached amendments or contradicts their provisions.
