Three-day Comex 2017 to commence at Oman convention centre

Muscat: 27th edition of COMEX 2017 will commence on Tuesday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The three-day event is the biggest Information Technology, Telecom and Technology show in the country and is expected to showcase the latest IT technologies in the Sultanate.
The Smart Cities Summit will also start on Tuesday at 9 am to highlight the potential of smart cities in Oman. The Information Technology Authority (ITA) and the other government entities are participating under the umbrella of the e.oman pavilion.
The e.oman pavilion and the business section will be open for three days in Hall 5, while the shoppers pavilion will be in Hall 4 and will continue until April 1.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Sheikh Al Fadhil bin Mohammed Al Harthy, secretary general of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of some excellences and officials from all government and some private entities.
The Smart Cities Summit will also be inaugurated on Tuesday and will continue until March 29 in Hall 3 of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The COMEX exhibition is the biggest ICT event in the Sultanate, featuring alongside the e.oman pavilion, a section for business, including leading companies in the IT sector and communications from inside and outside the Sultanate, in addition to a shopping section and it displays the latest gadgets and technical products of interest to consumers.
