5 Easy kitchen hacks

Forgot to take the butter out of the fridge and you don’t know how to spread it smooth on your toast? Do you struggle with peeling, cutting, and chopping on a daily basis? Not any more. There are many shortcuts to make every day cooking easier. Save your time and try some of these tricks.

1. To make tasty filter coffee: Add a little sugar to the coffee filter before adding coffee powder, then add boiling water to it.
2. For tasty and fluffy omelettes: Add a little milk or a tablespoon of water when beating eggs.
3. To retain the white colour of cauliflower: Add a tablespoon of milk while cooking cauliflower.
4. To extract more juice from lemons and lime: Roll lemon on the counter top before cutting and juicing to extract more juice from the lemons. Microwaving the lemon for 15 seconds also helps. Extract juice after it cools.
5.Forgot to take the butter out of the fridge? Cut the amount of butter you want to use and put it on a plate. Take a glass and fill it with hot water. Let it rest for a minute till the glass is warm. Pour the water out of the glass, dry it and invert it over the chunk of butter. In a minute or so, you’ll have soft butter.
