Heavy rain, storms for Oman

Muscat: From Tuesday until Saturday, Oman will be hit by heavy rain and possibly by hailstorms due to depression, Oman Meteorology Department has said.
“Muscat, Al Dahirah, Buraimi, North and South Batinah, Dakhliyah, North and South Sharqiyah will be hit by heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds and chances of hailstorm,” the meteorology department said in an advisory uploaded on its official twitter handle.
“The wadis will overflow,” the met department said advising the public to remain cautious.
“Dhofar and Al Wusta will also witness rain and high waves will be high upto 3 metres in Oman Sea and coast of Mussandam,” the advisory added.
