Oman's Majlis Al Shura's Social Committee hosts PACA experts

Muscat: Majlis Al Shura's Committee on Services and Social Development on Tuesday hosted specialists from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) on "Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Czech Republic", headed by Nasser bin Khamis Al Khamisi, Deputy Head of the Committee.
PACA officials presented their vision on the agreement, its purposes and its importance, and pointed out that air transport agreements are framework agreements to regulate the operation of airlines between the Sultanate and other countries, as airliners cannot operate in any country unless there is an air transport agreement with other countries. They added that the Sultanate has bilateral agreements with 92 countries.
